Author Biography

A native of Kansas City, Frank began college studying classical guitar performance and finished with a philosophy degree. He moved to upstate New York, earning his law degree in 1993.

Frank served on Law Review, he was a Ford Fellow (International Human Rights) at the United Nations in Geneva, and a law clerk for a pro bono law practice representing death row inmates in Texas.

Frank was a trial lawyer for thirty years, handling cases as an Assistant District Attorney and corporate litigator before he opened his own civil rights practice in 2010.

Frank was an adjunct law professor, and a columnist for the Harvard Law and Policy Review. Arts writing was always his avocation, and he published book and music reviews in local journals for decades.

Frank is a long-time advocate for public libraries and a past Chairman of the Buffalo and Erie County Library System.

Frank began writing full-time in 2023.
